P-A-R-T-Y Time!

Yesterday we finally had a chance to celebrate Travis' birthday with a couple of family friends. We celebrated with a bbq and cake! It was delicious! Our theme for the party was an ocean "one"derland, so I made a whale cake just for Travis to eat. I'm definately NOT a cake decorator, but it worked great for Travis. I had a slight catastrophe the night before when I was decorating it...the stinking tail of the whale fell off! Thanks to all family that sent gifts and cards...he was totally spoiled, but Carson sure had a great time opening all the gifts! Here are some fun pictures from our night!

CAKE time!
Travis was definately NOT scared of digging into his cake...he LOVED it! He started out pretty cautious...

...but that didn't last long!

Enjoying the cake!

Travis was pretty obsessed with Carson's "horn hat" as he calls it.

What a spoiled little guy!

That is such a creative theme, and I think that the cake looks great! You'd never guess the whale was once tailless. Isn't it funny how they start eating so cautiously, thinking is this for real. Then they realize they better take advantage while they can.
