CrAsH...

...Is the sound you will hear when a kitchen cabinet full of your dishes falls off the wall! Last Tuesday, I went over to my cabinet to get a plate out to set some hamburger on, opened the door, when the whole stinking thing fell off the wall! It landed right-side up, amazingly, but managed to break most of my dishes, my ipod dock, dent the floor in a couple of places, and bend the knob on another cabinet. SAD day!! It also hit my shoulder and ankle on it's way down making for some great bruises! One nice thing about the accident is I was able to get some new dishes, which is something I had been wanting to do because mine were getting pretty chipped and we had broke a few! We were just glad no one was injured (Travis had been playing on the floor in that very spot like an hour earlier!). Lucky for us, it was an easy fix and most of the dishes have been replaced!

Oh my word! You are lucky that your boys weren't by you when it happened! I'm sorry you got hurt, but hey, you have some nice "battle wounds" now from dishes! And I love how you look on the positive side... new dishes are a nice prize for having to go through all the trouble this caused!

We have never heard of a cupboard falling off the wall!! Good thing the only thing broken were dishes...that being said, Adam says chick dig bruises, although, that saying may not apply.
