Kauai

We are finally back to some normalcy after returnig from our trip. We got back Thursday night and woke up to snow Friday morning! We had a FANTABULOUS trip and wish we were still there...especially after the 6 inches of snow we got! I'm just warning you now, this post will be full of pictures. While we were there, we swam at the pool and the beach, soaked up some much needed rays, boogie boarded, snorkeld, ATE, had massages, went on a helicoptor ride, visited with family, played games, shopped, and saw the beauty of the island. Here are some pictures from our trip...enjoy!

A Flock of Foulgers in all their green glory! I don't have a big family photo yet, but there were 35 of us there and you definatley couldn't miss us in our nice green shirts!
Each of the shirts had which child/grandchild/spouse/greatgrand child we were

The ones that started it all...my grandparents!

Helicoptor ride...
was amazing! We were able to go into a volcano, see the wettest spot on earth where it rains 350 days a year, see whales, tons of waterfalls, and see where they filmed Jurassic Park, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and South Pacific

Feeding the Fish
The resort fed the coi fish in one of their ponds every day at 9 a.m. They would give the little kids cups full of fish food for them to feed the fish with. Carson had a blast and I think we did it 3 times while we were there. It was actually pretty gross to watch because the fish would go crazy flopping all over each other trying to get the food.

Waterfalls
We drove up to some water falls one morning...which would explain why I'm still in my pj's...to check them out. They were fun to see. Chickens were EVERYWHERE on the island. They have no natural enemies on the island so...as one person put it...the chickens rule the island!

This isn't from our trip, but I thought it was really cute!
Wednesday night we spent the night in Billings, MT and then flew home Thursday morning to Nebraska. Wednesday night Christian's mom and dad came up and visited us for a few hours. It was fun to see them!

I'm too excited to sleep!

It's official...today we are leaving for Hawaii! We are flying up to Billings today where we will meet up with the rest of my family and head out tomorrow to the island of Kauai. We are really excited to go!! It's going to be an unofficial Foulger Family reunion. All of my dad's siblings, their kids, and grandkids, and my dad's parents are all going. There will be a total of 35 of us. I just hope that we have everything packed! This is a picture of where we will be staying.

Look what I can do!

Well, it has been a rather boring couple of weeks around our house. The boys were sick with colds last week and now Christian and I have it. Cross your fingers...I think we are all on our way to getting better. Just wanted to share some pictures mainly for the grandma's since they were starting to get after me.

4 month milestones!

Travis had his 4 month check up. He now weighs 14 pounds 8 ounces and is 26 inches long and healthy! He has acquired the name fats (from his dad) and cheeks (from his grandma Foulger). The last couple of days have pretty fun for us as parents. We started Travis on rice cereal Tuesday in hopes that he might sleep better. He was quite the champ sleeper going to bed around 10 and getting up around 6 to eat and then going back to sleep for an hour or two. But, the last week or so he has been up like every few hours...worse than he was as a new born! We had a much better night last night...yeah! Anyways, he seemed to like it pretty well and is getting the hang of eating something other than milk.

Wednesday, Travis rolled over for the first time. He rolled from his back to his tummy and of course got mad after being on his tummy for a little while.
Cereal Face!

At 4 months, some of Travis' favorite things to do are:

*Play with his toes...they are great toys!

*Suck his thumb. Yep...we have a thumb sucker on our hands! I'm not so excited about it, but man...he is such a good baby!

...screech and gasp...

...and Christian's favorite thing to do with him is "the trick". Make sure to turn up your volume for a surprise!

The burp totally threw him off!

We are so glad to have Travis in our family. He is such a good baby and warms our hearts with his smile.

I'm confused...

...I thought it was the middle of the WINTER! We experienced near summer temps yesturday and loved every minute of it! Because it was so nice, we loaded up Carson's motorcycle and the stroller and went to the church parking lot so Carson had a flat surface to ride on (we have quite the hill in front of our house). As we were driving over to the church the temp in our car read 65 degrees! It was great and we had fun playing in the sunshine!

You can't see it very well, but the thermometer says 65...woo hoo!

Holidays!

The last few weeks have been a whirlwind for our family. We have managed to celebrate not one, not two, but three Christmas', two birthdays, New Year's and our 5th Anniversary! We made it home Christmas Eve where we started the festivities with Christian's family. We helped in the annual making of gnocchi, a favorite, visited, read the Christmas story, and opened our Christmas pj's. Then it was off to visit my family. We had some finger foods and just relaxed. Christmas day we opened gifts with my family, had breakfast, got ready and headed to Lovell. We also got to talk to Christian's brother who is in the Republic of Georgia on his mission. After lunch and gifts there, we stopped by Grandma Dorothy's house to say hi and then headed to Powell for dinner. I swear, we eat every 2-3 hours during the holidays at home...not a good thing! We were truly spoiled by everyone! The rest of our trip was full of running around visiting everyone. We had so much fun and it always seems like time flies by too fast! It was so much fun to see everyone and can't wait to see them soon! Sorry about all the pictures and the fact that they aren't in order!
