More Vacation!!

After a fun week in Utah, we made our way back to Wyoming to hang out for another week. We were lucky enough to be able to spend Father's Day with both sides, but super sad that we didn't get to spend it with Christian. We enjoyed some very yummy bbq for lunch with the Asay side early in the day. For Father's Day, we all chipped in and got Stan an ice cream maker...and lucky for us...they had all the fixings to make some frozen yogurt...YUMMY! That evening we had dinner with my family to finish out the day.

We also took advantage of the nice weather and went to the lake one day and swam in Grandma Foulger's pool one day! And, the boys had to take a dip in the hot tub just about every night followed by some fireworks once it got dark!

Yay for popsicles!!

Watching Jason light some fireworks!

Fun in Grandma's pool!
Day #1 at the lake!

Travis, the master chicken leg eater! This kid can pick a chicken leg clean like no one else I know! Carson will eat his and then Travis will clean it up!

Enjoying a blue cookie!

Vacation Time!

WOW, June has absolutely flown by! I can hardly believe that this week it will be July!! We have been super busy in June with all of our traveling! On the 13th, we left for a two week vacation to Salt Lake City and then back home to see family! We had so much fun and were entertained every day we were away, except one day...when I did some much needed laundry! My poor boys are going to be so bored now that we are back home! On Sunday, the 13th, the boys and I headed to Laramie, WY after church to stay the night on our way to meet up with my family. We got up Monday and met up with my parents and brother in Rock Springs, where we hitched a ride with them the rest of the way to Salt Lake. There, we were joined by my sister and later my brother and his family. We were in Salt Lake until Friday and did some super fun things! We were able to swim in the pool, shop, eat yummy food (I got to eat at Cafe Rio for the first time), celebrate my dad's 50th b-day, go to the aquarium, and visit temple square. Here are some pictures from the first part of our trip: Salt Lake!

Enjoying the Aquarium!

Happy 50th Birthday, Dad!

Fun in the sun...

(note to self...don't lay in the sun with jewelery on...makes for some funky tans!)

Playing in the fountains at the Gateway Mall...great fun!!

Oh, what do you do in the summer time?

I'll tell you what we do...we play in the water! This week has been busy with lots of fun water activities. We got to go to the lake and waterski for the first time this year. I'm glad to say that we all remembered how to ski after a couple of years of not being able to go!

We also had a primary activity this week where we had a picnic and then had water activities. We had a water balloon toss, a huge sling shot to launch balloons and see who could go the farthest (Carson actually won the first round), and it wouldn't be a water party without a water fight. We had probably 500 water balloons for the kids, along with squirt guns. The kids really seemed to have a great time! We have great kids in our branch that always seem to have a fun time when they are together, no matter what they are doing!
