Signs of summer time!

Well, I had really good intentions of posting these pictures last week when it really was summer! We had BEAUTIFUL 80 degree weather last week and we were convinced it was summer time! We mowed our lawn, barbequed a lot, found that our peas and radishes had come up, ran (and ran through) the sprinklers,

blew bubbles,

Enjoyed the blooming tulips,

and just enjoyed being outside.

This week is not supposed to be as nice, but we will deal! We really haven't been up to too much lately. We had a game night at our house with the bachelors in our branch last night. We played cards and the guys played a very intense game of Risk (not my fave!).

Travis has finally had one tooth break through on the bottom and is working on another one right next to it. He is busy, busy, busy, and is now trying to pull himself up on things! Carson has been doing SO good with potty training! I can't believe how well it went! We are so proud of him! I had to share a couple of cute videos of Travis and his slurping abilities! It was pretty fun to watch him! Sorry that they are sideways...I forget you have to film them the other way!

...Travis has started crawling! I now need to go around and "baby proof" my house. That boy seems to find the tiniest of things and it all goes straight to the mouth! It is so fun to watch him become mobile and be able to get to the things he wants!

I just had to share a cute thing Carson says. It has been raining for the last couple of days and he has been begging to go and jump in the rain piles (instead of rain puddles). Yesturday he finally got to jump in all the rail piles he could handle! He had so much fun and got soaking wet and it was a great way to clean the cow poop off his boots that have been there since Christmas!

It's that time again!

Well, Spring is here and that means it is time to start planting our garden. So, for family home evening last night, we planted our cooler weather seeds...radishes, peas, and carrots! Carson was so excited...we had to go out and check on the garden first thing this morning! Here are some pictures from last night!

This picture is for my mom. For Carson's first Easter, she sent him a huge chocolate bunny and we took a picture of him sucking away on it...and he was only 4 months old. So, keeping with tradition, she sent one for Travis (and Carson) and we had to document it. He loved it...and was so mad when I took it away!

Easter Weekend

We had the best weekend. We were lucky to have Michael, Emily and their kids along with Matthew and Charlene over for the weekend. It was so much fun to have them around. Matthew and Charlene got here Thursday night and Michael and Emily came Friday afternoon. Our weekend was filled with:

Easter Surprise!

Travis and Carson recieved an Easter surprise box today from their aunti Butts (my sister)! They got a box full of Easter grass, which is now all over my yard, Megan...thanks, that was hiding tons of filled eggs and other fun things. Carson had so much fun rummaging through the grass to find the treasures. His favorite thing had to be the bubble blower...we have already used all the bubbles! Thanks so much Auntie Butts...we love you and can't wait to see you!

We have had some really nice weather the last couple of days and have taken advantage of it by playing outside. Here are some pictures from yesturday while we were playing.

I just thought I would do an update on the boys. Carson is quite the funny little guy. He had been on a kick of playing animals with the barn he got for Christmas. We have been working really hard on potty training this last week and it has been going great. I think...cross your fingers...this will be it! Travis is growing like a weed and has become quite the mobile little guy in the last little while. He isn't full-out crawling yet but he gets where he wants to be pretty quickly. He's discovered how to pull himself up on things...yikes! He has had a rough couple of days...He currently has Thrush an infection in his mouth so we are working on clearing that up and rolled down the little hill at our house today and scruffed his head on the cement...ouch!

On April Fool's Day, we had a silly supper. I made up a menu with crazy names for all the food Christian and Carson got to choose from. Christian picked pretty good, but Carson picked mostly things to drink. Here they are with their suppers.

We had a couple of days this week where it was in the 60's. Carson had to take advantage of the good motorcycle riding weather...and so did Travis. We also power raked the lawn while it was nice.

We made a trip to Wal-Mart yesterday and the boys got their picture taken with the Easter Bunny. We were really disappointed with how the picture turned out because they were both smiling at one point! Oh well!
