This weekend was GORGEOUS! It was well into the 80's Saturday and Sunday...which made for an awesome weekend. Friday night, we decided to go with some friends to the stock car races here in McCook with the rest of the rednecks from Nebraska...just kidding (but not really). These are like the social events of the week during the summer and is quite the mullet fest! A couple of the farmers Christian works with race so it's kind of fun to go and watch them. I shouldn't be so judgemental because they are actually quite fun to attend. If you've never been to one it's quite the experience to sit in the bleachers and actually feel the cars roar by. It's pretty fun to attend everyonce in a while...especially if there are some good wrecks!
Saturday, we decided it would be a good day to organize our garage and storage room since when we moved things just kind of got thrown on the shelves. We didn't quite get through the garage because Christian had to leave and go help a member of our branch move. After he got back, we planted what we've been told are "cool weather" things (carrots, peas & radishes)in our garden. As you can tell, I/we aren't very savvy at this whole gardening thing...I don't even know what to call the seeds! This is our first year actually planting a garden, so I'm pretty excited about it. I love, love, love fresh garden tomatoes! Once I finally got all the bark raked up, Christian hauled it to the dumpster, layed the soaking hose, dug the holes, and then we all planted the seeds. It will be fun to see the seeds grow...I'm pretty excited...if you can't tell. Here in a while we'll finish planting the rest of our garden.

Hey, I'm glad you guys had nice weather, its been really nice in Laramie, too. Did Carson love watching those car races? :) Congrats on your garden, I always wanted to plant one when we lived in Lovell, but it was easier to mooch off of Jan's garden. :)
