Adventures with Sardines!!

Carson watched Sunny with a Chance of Meatballs recently and discovered sardines while watching the movie. He asked Christian if he liked them and Christian told him he did and that he would have me buy some for family home evening so Carson could try them. Carson was so excited! Well, Carson remembered this and would not let me forget to buy sardines while we were grocery shopping this last week. We went to Wal-Mart and found the sardines. I have NEVER seen a little kid so excited about sardines! He showed them to everyone we saw in Wal-Mart and was telling the cashier how excited he was and that they were the best prize ever!! As soon as we got home, he wanted to eat them, but Christian told him we had to wait for FHE. Well, he tried really hard to wait, but after his nap, he couldn't stand it any more and they decided to dig in! Carson took one bite and we could tell he was not impressed! I'm sure he was thinking to himself..."What's so great about these...they are disgusting", but he tried so hard to like them because he knew his dad liked them! All in all, Carson found out that he really doesn't like sardines...even though he asked the next day if we had some more (he really wants to like them because his dad does!)!

One of my favorite things to do with my boys is turn up the music and "jam out"! They love to dance to the music. Carson has been doing this little break dance thing for quite a while now and the other day while we were dancing, I noticed Travis trying to do it too...too cute! They are so funny!

Okay, Nathan loves to break dance too! Our kids seriously need to get together. I think they would be best buds! I feel like I say this all the time! :-)
I can't believe Carson ate sardines. He is one brave boy!

Sardines are gross, and that is a very funny story. Almost as funny as the break dancing in a diaper and slippers.

LOL! I love the sardine story! Blake and Kyle both LOVE the movie "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs"! Whenever we drive by a RebBox they want to rent it! For Blake's birthday he got some money and the other day he told me he had a dollar to rent "Meatballs"! I guess we should have just gotten it for him for his birthday! Oh well... maybe I'll have to see if he wants to try some sardines!

How funny! It's so cute that Carson tried to still like sardines even after eating them.
