This weekend was the annual trip to Dry Head, part of the Pryor Mountains, where Christian's dad's cows summer pasture. The guys were up early to get a head start, and the rest of us (mom's and babies and grandpa Asay) left after 8 to catch up with the guys. We couldn't leave until we had the chance to see the new colt. The boys had been waiting and waiting for the new baby to get here and were so excited when grandma told them that Annie had her baby! We met up with the herd and the guys and saddled up a couple more horses for Travis, Carson and Stetson to ride. The rest of us followed behind in the suburban. It was a beautiful day and moving the cows went well. After all the hard work, we grilled some burgers over a camp fire and then headed back.

We stopped for a bit at a spot called Dead Man and let the cows and cowboy get a drink. |

While we were stopped, I spotted this little guy! |

Landon rode in the backpack for a while while I walked. His hat was a little bit so we had to turn the front up! |
